Many players have been asking me to handicap the MEGA MILLIONS game, and with a hefty $160 Million Jackpot on the line, I am more than happy to oblige! I have created a very simple KEY WHEEL to arrange my selections for the 09/24/13 drawing. I will be using the KEY numbers 26 and 56 in each and every combination. These two fixed numbers will then be wheeled against every possible combination of these eight floating numbers: 07 - 18 - 22 - 24 - 28 - 29 - 45 and 52. This will give us 56 combinations to play. Each of these 56 combinations will then be wheeled against the MEGA-BALL numbers 18 and 23, giving us a total of 112 combinations to play. I will then use the MEGAPLIER option to play each combination at a ticket cost of $2.00, for a total drawing investement of $224.00.

Using a KEY WHEEL like this is a very effective approach that affords the player very precise and specific coverage. The primary element for success here is that the KEY numbers 26 and 56 must be drawn, as they appear in every combination. If we get these two numbers right and any three of the eight floating numbers right, then we are assured of having all five winning numbers on the same ticket. If we also have the MEGA-BALL number correct, then the Jackpot is ours!
